By car

You can drive to France using Ferries or Eurotunnel (see below). The drive from Calais to Montigny takes three hours (Three hours and half from Dunkirk) and is mostly motorway. Take the A16 which goes all the way to Paris and costs 18 € in road tolls If you're driving down and you've space in your vehicle, it would be great if you can post your details on our Car Sharing page. This is also the place to look if you are looking for a lift !

By train Eurostar

Hopefully no sneaky snow will happen in August so the Eurostar should work ! It departs from London st Pancreas and arrives at Paris Gare du Nord station, where you could catch a train to Montigny (see 'How to get to the ceremony' page). Check the following link for more details:

By plane

You can fly to Roissy Charles de Gaulle or Orly but Charles de Gaulle airport is the closest. You can take taxis from both airports to Montigny-lès-Cormeilles but it is an expensive option. Both airports also have train links to central Paris where you can catch a train to Montigny-lès-Cormeilles (see how to go to Montigny)
